I have now unpicked the offending section and am ready to head back to the machine.

i think this looks fantastic so far! would love to see a pic of it finished......as living in melbourne, i wont be at the canberra show lol! i admire the efforts of self machine quilting - it has always looked easier to do than to actually do itself.....i have given it a go a couple of times, and each time i think - how do they do it???? i think the hardest thing for me is manipulating a quilt under/over/around/through the throat of a domestic machine, but the best of the best seem to manage VBG!

Have you reversed over the same line to get out of the spirals ? or stopped and started again ?
